Capriol Suite

• Warlock composed this neo-Renaissance dance suite for strings in 1926.¹
• Warlock wrote this suite while he was working on several early-music research projects, including a project on Carlo Gesualdo and book entitled The English Ayre.²
• Warlock dedicated this suite to French composer Paul Ladmirault.³
