  • Written in 1964, Autumn: Concertino for Harp, Strings, and Percussion is chamber piece evoking the ambience of the season. The piece was commissioned by the Northern California Harpists’ Association for Spanish harpist, Nicanor Zabaleta.
  • The chamber work is organized into four movements:
    1. Salute to the Wind
    2. Dialogue
    3. Love Scene
    4. Promenade
  • Autumn premiered in October 1964 in Madrid performed by Zabaleta and the Municipal Orchestra of Valencia. Enrique Jorda conducted.1
