- This single movement for piano trio was originally the slow movement of Tailleferre’s Piano Trio (1917). When she revised the work in 1977-1978, Tailleferre removed this movement from the trio and added two shorter movements in its place.1
- The title is simply a performance direction: calm, without slowness.
