Traveling Song is a short piece for solo piano, appearing on the 2023 album Together.

Traveling Song serves as a poignant tribute to Simon’s late grandmother who battled Alzheimer’s disease and features a new arrangement of one of her favorite hymns “When He Calls Me, I Will Answer.”¹ Simon titled the work, Traveling Song, because it was meant to accompany his grandmother’s transition through the end of her earthly life to the next.
