- Water Droplets (Vesipisaroita in Finnish) is a short, charming piece for violin and cello in which the instruments use pizzicato to imitate the sound of raindrops.
- Sibelius wrote Water Droplets in 1875, when he was 10 years old. It’s the first known piece that the composer wrote.1
