Piano Trio No. 1 in B-flat Major, Op. 99, D. 898

Composer: SCHUBERT, Franz
  • Schubert started work on this trio in 1827. A Schubert chamber work was performed at the Vienna Musikverein in December of 1827, and it was likely this one.1
  • This piece was eventually published in 1836, as Schubert’s Op.99.2

“One glance at Schubert’s Trio [Op. 99] and the troubles of our human existence disappear and all the world is fresh and bright again.”
