Ancient Airs and Dances

• Respighi wrote three orchestral suites entitled Ancient Airs and Dances for Lute (Antiche danze ed arie per liuto). Each set is a collection of arrangements of 16^th or 17^th century lute pieces by Italian and French composers.¹
