- Price’s second violin concerto was written in 1952, one year before her death. Unlike a traditional concerto, Violin Concerto No. 2 is just one movement.
- Violin Concerto No. 2 was never published during the composer’s lifetime and was only discovered, along with several other unpublished compositions, in 2009 when a house that Price had once owned was being renovated.1
