- Written in 1922, the piano trio Tres Impresiones (Three Impressions) was dedicated to Perelló’s fellow musicians in the Trio Barcelona: cellist Pere Marés i Gribbin and pianist Ricardo Viñes.
- In this piece, each of the three instruments (piano, violin, and cello) is featured as the leading voice at one point or another.
- Perelló wrote Tres Impresiones partly as a tribute to his musical partners in the Trio Barcelona and partly as a tribute to the composer’s mentor, Isaac Albéniz.1
