- Prélude mélancolique (Melancholy Prelude)
- Snöflingor (Snowflakes)
- Menuet mignon1
- In 1916, Europe was in the midst of World War I, which may have influenced the mood and character of these three Morceaux. The first and third works are based on Finnish folk music.2
