Symphony No.51 in D Major, K. 121/207a

  • Written between 1774-75, when Mozart was 18 or 19.
  • Three movements:
    1. Allegro molto*
    2. Andantino grazioso*
    3. Allegro
  • *The first two movements were taken from the overture to Mozart’s opera, La finta giardiniera, K. 196, likely written in 1774. The third movement was written separately later, in 1775.1
