- Completed in 1775, when Mozart was 18 or 19 years old, likely during a stay in Munich for the premiere of La finta Giardiniera in early 1775.
- Three movements:
- I. Adagio
- II. Menuetto I / Menuetto II
- III. Allegro
- Mozart’s piano sonatas written around this time, particularly K. 282, are unique in that the composer assigned an abundance of dynamics and articulations in the score, which was rare for Mozart.1
