Faire is the heaven

Composer: HARRIS, Sir William
  • Faire is the heaven is a double choir anthem written in 1925 that many believe exemplifies William Harris’s best work.
  • The anthem uses lines from three stanzas of the poem, An Hymn of Heavenly Beauty, by the 16th-century poet Edmund Spenser.1
