- This is based on the 4th movement of Handel’s Keyboard suite HWV 437 in d minor.1
- This suite was published by John Walsh in 1733 as No. 4 in the Handel keyboard collection Suites de Pièces.2 (I think the CD’s designation of “No. 7” is a mistake.)
- This arrangement is adapted to feature the solo violin, including added solo material for the violin and one new variation that isn’t in Handel’s original.3 It was arranged by Olivier Fourés.4
