  • Clementi composed this piano concerto in 1796.
  • Clementi composed many piano concertos, but this is the only surviving one.
  • Clementi composed his concertos to perform at occasions such as between the acts of oratorios at Covent Garden Theater, as well as in concert series in London and elsewhere in Europe.1
