Epilogue

Composer: CLARKE, Rebecca
  • Epilogue is a short piece for cello and piano probably written in 1921, though perhaps as late as 1932.
  • The piece is dedicated to Portuguese cellist Guilhermina Suggi.1
  • Epilogue has an overarching sense of sadness, perhaps foreshadowing her farewell to composition during the last decades of her life.2
