Ophélie, Op. 165

  • Bonis likely composed this piece around 1909,1 though the manuscript is undated. It remained unpublished during her lifetime; it was first published by Fortin-Armiane in 1998.2
  • Bonis made two versions of this work: one for piano (Op. 165/1) and one for orchestra (Op. 165/2).3

This piece was republished in 2003 in Femmes de légende, the first volume of Furore’s complete edition of Bonis’s piano works
