Oboe Concertos, Op. 7

  • Albinoni’s op. 7 is a collection of concertos published in 1715 in Amsterdam.1
  • These works were influenced by the concertos of Antonio Vivaldi, Albinoni’s fellow Venetian 2  
  • Albinoni was the first Italian to publish oboe concertos.3
  • This collection helped popularize the 3-movement concerto format.4
