- Meath Pastoral is a work for string orchestra, which Duff composed in 1940.1
- Duff frequently collaborated with the Dublin String Orchestra, founded and directed by Irish conductor Terry O’Connor.2 She directed the Dublin String Orchestra in the premiere of Meath Pastoral in Dublin in 1944.3
- Meath is a county in mid Ireland.
