- Skoryk’s publisher dates this suite to 1979.1 The Naxos album no. 8.573333 gives the date as 1973.2
- This suite is based on incidental music Skoryk wrote for the play Kaminnyi hospodar (The Stone Host, 1912)3 by Ukrainian poet Lesya Ukrainka. The play is a reworking of the Don Juan legend.4

- My best guess is that 1973 was the date of the play and original incidental music, and 1979 is when Skoryk finalized the three-movement standalone suite, but sources to confirm this are not yet available to me.
