- Vivaldi likely wrote his Violin Concerto in e minor in 1730 or 1731 when the composer was visiting Bohemia. The concerto consists of three movements:
- Allegro molto
- Largo
- Allegro1
- Having written hundreds of concertos during his career, including over 200 for violin, Vivaldi is widely accepted as having perfected the classical music genre and solidified the fast-slow-fast three-movement structure.
