Sonata No. 2 for Violin and Piano

Composer: TAILLEFERRE, Germaine
  • Completed in 1951, Tailleferre’s Violin Sonata No. 2 is actually a revision of a Violin Concerto from 1936. Tailleferre was never satisfied with the concerto and reworked the material for violin and piano.1
  • Violin Sonata No. 2 consists of three movements:
    1. Allegro ma non troppo
    2. Adagietto
    3. Final
