- Published in 1886, Three Original Pieces in Spanish Style is a three-movement work for violin, cello, and piano consisting of three original interpretations of Spanish dances:
- Bolero
- Habanera
- Seguidillas Gitanas
- While studying in Belgium in the 1880s, Arbós formed a piano trio with cellist Agustín Rubio and pianist Isaac Albéniz. The three musicians became known as the Iberian Trio and toured together for several years. Three Original Pieces in Spanish Style is one of several pieces that Arbós composed for the trio to perform.1
