- Aria e Rondo all’ungherese for 2 violins and strings, composed 1994.1 It has also been published in an edition for oboe, violin and strings.2
- Farkas was inspired to write this work after hearing the playing of two violinists at a music festival in Knittelfeld, Austria. One of the violinists, Albert Kocsis, passed away before he could play this piece, so Farkas dedicated the piece to Kocsis’s memory (even though the published version lists a different dedication).3
- In this piece, Farkas utilized melodies by an anonymous 18th century composer.4
